About the Club

The Bellmore Merrick Democratic Club brings together neighbors committed to democratic values, civic participation, and building a stronger community. We advocate for our constitutional republic, promote the principles that define us as Democrats, and support candidates at every level of government.

We hold monthly meetings and work through our issue committees on matters important to our members and our community.

Membership is open to all registered Democrats in Nassau County, though anyone may attend meetings, join committees, or help elect Democratic candidates.

Our Mission — From the Club Bylaws

This organization brings together Democrats from Merrick, Bellmore, and other parts of Nassau County who want to make our society and our party better, support peace at home and abroad, and ensure everyone has a fair chance to participate in local, county, state, and national government. It also supports the nomination and election of Democratic candidates who share these values. In addition, the organization will serve the community by offering educational and cultural programs, developing scholarship opportunities, and creating a forum for public discussion of ideas and events.
